The next morning we headed to Ruth's church with Anil's dad. After a rather circuitous route (We think the driver got lost) we arrived. I almost made a faux pas as I started to sit in the empty area on the left hand side of the church reserved for women. In the picture Ruth's mother is the lady in the blue sari near the bottom left of the picture.
After church we met Ruth and her mother for the first time. They were very gracious to us.
Before leaving the church I took a picture of the outside of the building ...
... along with the shrine on the other side of the street.
We headed back to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon Chris took a nap while I headed out with Anil's Aunt who's nickname was Pinky (sp?) and her family. We headed through a park area and took a boat through some rather green water to visit one of Hyderabad's tourist attractions, a large statue of Buddha.
Back at the hotel we talked with Anil on his last night as a single guy. I think there was also something about a wedding 'weddgie' as well ;)
